Introducing
Information Technology & Network Administrator

Since the 19th century, Khartoum University has recognized the urgent need for development in the field of information and communication technology. The Information Technology and Network Department at Khartoum University was established by an administrative decision from the University Director. This decision abolished the Information and Communication Technology Center and the Information Unit in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, as well as the Information Network Department, and transferred their tasks and responsibilities to the new Information Technology Center. It should be noted that the University is one of the oldest Information Technology Centers and that the first computer in Sudan was operated there.
